Originally from Cupertino, California, Daniel started playing drums as a young child, and he received his first drum set at the age of 8. He was self taught and would often play the drums with his father who plays the organ. Daniel received a full-fledged drum set at the age of 9 and continued playing throughout high school. Daniel has met and played with various musicians as a music major at De Anza College in Cupertino California, and he joined his first band RS2 Solid Sound during his time in college. Daniel has played various shows with RS2 Solid Sound in and out of the Bay Area. He has also played with the Adam Walter Quartet, De Anza Jazz Ensemble, as well as the Sons of Jubal big band. He currently lives in San Jose California where he continues to record and perform live with various bands. He also currently studies the drum set under his private teacher Ryan Stohs in San Jose, California.
